Martian Molybdenum?

Scientists Say Life On Earth Started In Mars

"Prof Benner said the element molybdenum was thought to be a catalyst that helped organic molecules develop into the first living things."

Molybdenum? Boy, was I ahead of the curve or what? During the early part of our relationship, Mr. Cube was looking at my books, and he spotted one entitled, "Molybdenum," and he asked me, "You have a book about molybdenum?... and he married me anyway :-)

Is this something I need to know to live a life as an English major?

People say, "What would they think", "What would they do?" "They said", and "They know" and Ron and I wondered who "they" were. We decided on our own "They" were Martians. We were ahead of our time.

WomanHonorThyself: What? You mean you don't talk about molybdenum in your daily life? ;-)

Jan: You can live a productive life as an English major without talking about molybdenum. The world will still turn.

Cube - That's funny. Actually about Mr. Cube marrying you anyway and also that life started on Mars.

Everyone knows that life started here. Except you scientists. : ]

I don't know where life started, but molybdenum from Mars is a new on me. I was under the impression that Sydney Fox explained it by putting CHON (carbon, hyrogen, oxygen and nitrogen) together to make amino acids... the building blocks of life. That's the beauty of science. It's a fluid system. I will now have rethink my hypotheses.
