Beware of The BLOG...it creeps, it leaps, it glides & slides all over the place.
Bless her heart. A hard lesson to learn indeed.Have a terrific day. ☺
I saw this story too...so sad! BRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xoxoxox
We have all stepped into the unknown "just to see what would happen." As long as there are kids and flagpoles and cold weather, someone is going to end up with their tongue stuck.
Sandee: Life is full of hard lessons. I hope she's wiser as a result.
WomanHonorThyself: Thankfully, she's going to be fine. We Floridians are brrr with non-capital letters and no exclamation points. Cold is relative.
Robin: I can attest to a few of those life lessons myself. When I was litte, I got my tongue stuck on a metal ice tray. Luckily my mother was able to free me with water so I didn't lose any skin. At least I didn't almost shoot my eye out with a BB gun.
Seems like this has to happen every so often to make the point.
She is someone to keep an eye on. Definitely a future in politics.
Cube - What was she doing anyway - putting her tongue on a flagpole. That is so awful that she had to wait 15 minutes before she was freed. I hate that part of A Christmas Story when the kid gets his tongue stuck on the pole.
Jan: I know. It's all fun and games until somebody shoots their eye out.
DaBlade: Only if somebody double dog dares her.
Sue Hanes: Kids do the strangest things because their brains aren't fully developed yet. This girl just got the idea to this. Now she knows it was a dumb idea.
