Everyone Sems To Be In Such A Hurry To Scream ‘Racism’ These Days.

From Kirsty Eli and just for fun:

A customer asked, “In what aisle could I find the Irish sausages?”
The assistant asks, “Are you Irish?”

The guy, clearly offended, says, “Yes I am, but let me ask you something…

If I had asked for Italian sausage, would you ask me if I was Italian?

Or if I had asked for German Bratwurst, would you ask me if I was German?

Or if I asked for a kosher hot dog would you ask me if I was Jewish?

Or if I had asked for a Taco, would you ask if I was Mexican?

Or if I asked for Polish sausage, would you ask if I was Polish?”

The assistant says, “No, I probably wouldn’t.”

The guy says, “Well then, just because I asked for Irish sausage, why
did you ask me if I’m Irish?”

The assistant replied, “Because you’re in AutoZone.”

Steal away. It's all free :-)

Love it, but then I'm not Irish.

Jan: Neither am I. I grew up hearing Polish jokes, but not Irish. That's new to me.

You know what, people should just chill. Stop getting so outraged at every little thing they perceive as a slight.

That was great! LOL!

Ha! That's a cute one.

I'm not sure if its outrage over supposed slights or purposely trying to agitate when opportunity arises. Sort of the same way that some women think being a "bitch" is okay. Just because you can freak out doesn't mean that you should. It just means that you are a freak!

Well that still doesn't explain the clerks question:-)

Cube - I hate to admit it but I don't get the joke. What does AutoZone have to do with sausage?

Leticia: Glad you liked it.

Silly Rabbit: Manufactured outrage is what I call what you described. It's a big business nowadays.

Granny Annie: I know. I grew up with Polish jokes... never heard the Irish jokes. I guess all of our nationalities are going to get the business.

Sue Hanes: Autozone is an auto parts store. It would be be indicative of a not-so-bright person asking for any type of sausage there.
