I used to revel in the beauty of bald eagles. We would stop and watch in awe when we would spot one or two in our area. But two years ago 1500 descended on the cliffs around our lake and many swooped down on my property feasting on 8 of my 12 guinea fowl. The bald eagles are no longer endangered but they are still protected and you can only watch them dine on your fowl.
Granny Annie: I'm sorry for your guinea fowl, but nature is "red in tooth and claw". I pitied the lizard my Maine Coon had sticking out of her mouth like a stogie, but I accepted it as nature. There's no good and bad, it just is.

They don't seem to mind our presence. I look forward to seeing what they feed the babies.
It's like watching a Hulk Hogan sex video only it's not nasty or disgusting. I find this entertaining.
Gosh, they're beautiful together. It's fascinating to watch.
Right now she's feeding both of the babies. My heart is full.
Eagles are so beautiful. Watching babies makes me smile.
Messymimi: Me, too. I find it fascinating.

Cube - How cute are the little baby eagles! The adults are so beautiful also. Go eagles!

Sue Hanes: The eaglets look like little puffs of white feathers, not as regal as their parents.
