Cat Blog Friday

For this Cat Blog Friday...

... yes, I know it's Saturday, but I tried to post this yesterday and our new kitten, Taz, had the above response 😉

Typical cat...

Happy Saturday everybody!

Taz will do what Taz wants and so will you. I linked Taz to Feline Friday.

Have a purrfect weekend, Taz. My best to your peeps. ♥

Sometimes the cats will do that, we can only go with their timetable. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Taz needs a Christmas tree covered with ornaments to occupy an active kitten mind.

jik Comedy Plus: The addition to your name was Taz's imput BTW. Yes, it will be a battle of the minds with this cat because she can be very feisty, but she'll have to learn who is the queen and who is the princess. Wish me luck 😉

Messymimi: Cats are nothing if not single-minded. Hope you and yours are having a happy weekend.

LL: You haven't been the first to remind us of a new kitten and a Christmas tree. We're dreading it, of course, because you never know what a new animal will be capable of doing. We had one German Shepherd, Dax, who waited for us to leave before she'd sneak into the living room and destroy an ornament. Another German Shepherd, Elke, decide to chew up our brand new couch and nothing else. You never know what will happen when you allow an animal into your house.

I will Confirm. You have a bona-fido Cat.

Better Taz than a bobcat?

Maybe.

Now that are animals are maturing I miss the kitten-puppy unpredictability.

OMGosh - that is so funny and so true. I need one for our little Erica, although she did go out in the cold yesterday and snagged a huge pocket gopher. Good kitteh!

Kid: Yes, and this poor little kitten has gone through a lot and is a fighter. She's making things around the house much more upbeat.

LL: I wouldn't say a bobcat, but she's a tough little fighter, and that's one trait I like in my cats. I have not seen any bobcat scat around here, but I'll keep the gators away from my Christmas tree, so you keep the bobcats and wolves away from your white wolf retreat.

Jan: I know, it's a lot like children. They grow up so fast.

Adrienne: We're trying to keep the new kitten inside all the time. It's hard because the other two adult cats in the house were already both inside & outside cats when we rescued them.

BTW You'd think Florida squirrels would be big, but they're actually much smaller than the squirrels I've seen at my in-laws place in Cape Cod. I don't know where you are geographically, but how big was the pocket gopher that your Erica grabbed? I'm just curious.
