Political Hogwash

Return To Civility Means Surrender To The Democrats And Media

The recent death of President George H.W. Bush is being used by the left to highlight the hope of a return to the "civility" of the Bush years, or in leftist terms, a Republican that agreed to cross the political aisle and agree with the democrats and just go along, in large contrast to President Trump.

Suddenly, there is so much respect and accolades to a President that they were never civil to while he served in office and then savaged his son, George W. Bush even worse during his term.

We will not be a free democratic republic until the media returns to the ideal of free speech, so I think a president who defies the leftist media is exactly what we need until the MSM decides to educate themselves about free speech.

MAGA.

George HW Bush was a Republican in name only, promoting the "New World Order" so strongly that he was a one-term president. There were a lot of people with what he was trying to peddle - about 180 degrees off what President Reagan's policy of nationalism and strengthening the USA. In fact if you substitute the faces, they could have been Hillary Clinton's word and platform.

When donkeys say, "let's have a conversation", they mean, "let's just assume that I'm right and you're wrong."

LL: The media is promoting Bush's funeral with the same intent as they promoted McCain's funeral. It's all about toking the liberal line or you're an evil subversive, like Trump, who refuses to play their game.

LL: The only republicans democrats like are dead ones.

I say President Trump is doing the right thing. Some of the so called media are bleeding out because of their hatred. And your right about the only republicans the demonrats like are the dead ones.

Have a fabulous day. ♥

You are so right. We traded in a man of class who tried to get along with his opponents for a man totally without class and we are still paying for it.

Comedy Plus: Trump was right... again. This pisses off the democrats more than ever. It makes their attacks even more frenzied, so gird your loins, it's going to be a bumpy week or month. 😉

Jan: From my point of view, in Bush's era, we voted for a republican, who, although a man of of sterling character, still fed into the global-sided view all because he was better than the alternative.

For the record: in democrat terms, "trying to get along with your opponents" is basically you put your arm across the aisle and pull back a stump.

Politics is a smash mouth event. It's not pretty, but please, don't sugarcoat what happened.

Couldn't agree more.

When they will only listen if what you are saying is what they want to hear, that’s not civil discussion. As i read once, they only want to hear their opinion coming out of your mouth.

If only honesty would return as a virtue the left could embrace.

Kid: It's a sad state of affairs.

Messymisi: Absolutely. Free speech only as long as it agrees with their points of view. Censorship for the one who don't agree.

Woodsterman (Odie): Yes, honesty on the left's part would be a breath of fresh air. Don't hold your breath, though.
