The church visit is all too transparent...
I may be way off the mark here, but it seems to me that a speech writer won't deliberately alter the Declaration of Independence on a whim. Either Obama had them change it beforehand, or he decided on the spot, in front of a room full of mostly catholics, to do away with the "Creator" line. Geez. What a maroon!
He was upset that he was not given top billing, none of this Creator crap for him
I thought he was a Constitutional SCHOLAR, after all? He knew what he did. Someone posted that the speech included GOD and he left it out; I have no way of knowing that for sure, but could any of you even SAY that part without saying it correctly? I mean, I don't know it by heart, but it's kind of like the Apostle's Creed in church; once everybody starts, you can follow along and DO NOT let anybody leave a word out or you'll know, right?!
Oh, ya..church, the third time in almost two years. "Holy, holy, holy..."
Must be hard for him to acknowledge ANYBODY who's above him, huh?
I thought the same thing when I heard the Obamas were going to church for the first time since Easter... Feeling the heat, eh?
I bet that it was all he could do not to say "Allah." Maybe that's why he hesitated?
