We had the best Thanksgiving EVER! Two invitations for dinner, one traditional American and one Chinese, and we accepted both invitations as the meal times didn't clash.
Z: I did quite well on Thanksgiving as far as controlling myself... But last night Dave brought home 'kitchen scrap' fried rice from a very, very good Thai restaurant to which he delivers produce. It was the spiciest and yummiest thing, and I'm still paying for it. I imagine my waistline will as well!
Ten years ago I could've eaten the whole thing, NO PROBLEM.
Brooke: Oh that sounds delicious. When I have my choice, I always pick Chinese food, but that sounds even better. I'll be right over when David brings it home the next time ;-)
Always On Watch: It sounds like you had a wonderful time. Last year Mr. Cube's relatives were in Florida for Thanksgiving. His great aunt wanted to do Thanksgiving dinner, but she knew that we always had my family over. This darling woman decided to do Thanksgiving dinner on Wednesday and we had two Thanksgiving dinners last year. It was wonderful. I can completely understand :-)

I'm trying to figure out what the hell is on that platter? Is that a mutilated Cookie Monster?
