Cat Blog Friday

For this Cat Blog Friday...

... a Mother Teresa cat.

Why?

Back story: On Tuesday, my youngest daughter had her wisdom teeth extracted. She was instructed to take a Valium one hour before the procedure, which she did. A bit later, my eldest daughter called me over to her sister's room and told me that she was acting "loopy". She was dressing our male cat in a scarf and calling him Mother Teresa.

Better living through chemistry, eh?

:-)

Happy Friday everybody!

Cube - We need to make this Cat Blog Friday a saint! She looks a bit sheepish. Trying to please her master by going along with the gag.

Whoops - I should have said him.

I don't know about making him a saint, but Felix, a.k.a. Fee, was certainly patient about the makeover. He just resigns himself to whatever indignity he's subjected to as long as he's well fed.

Years ago, the girls put something on his head and it looked like a bonnet. So he was called Country Fee for a long time. Now he has a new nickname... Mother Feeresa.

If I did that to our cat, I would have to hide all of our shoes for a very long time since I'm sure she would confuse them with her litter box.

Jan: lol. Felix is a very food-driven cat. He doesn't mind what you do to him as long as he gets lots of food.

Fee is an angel for tolerating that. My Ziyal would have fought paws (no claws) and body to get out of that.

Gotta love those kitties.

Perhaps Valium is a bit strong for that procedure. She might try to dress the doctor up too.

Leticia: I love me those kitties, too, but Fee is no angel. If he's in the house, you must guard your food or he'll get to it. He's the most food-driven cat I've ever had. BTW he has all his claws, he just chooses not to use them when being dressed.

Woodstermann (Odie): Loopy greetings to you.

WomanHonorThyself: I don't know how.

Granny Annie: Lol. It's pretty standard procedure. The same was done when my eldest daughter had her wisdom teeth pulled, although she did not dress cats or anything else.

Cameo would not put up with THIS! She is too feisty to wear any kind of human clothes. Hehehe.
