Revolution Solution

I remember 33, 45, and 78, but not 16. What's up with that?

Cube - What do these numbers mean?

Um...45 and 33 were RPM record speeds. 16? I don't know.

33 is a LP - long playing record (albums)
45 is for the single song records (one per side)
16 is for the early talking book records.

I had quite a collection of 45s as a kid and then even more of the LPs. I never tried the early talking books, but I would have liked them too.

I never had the 16 setting, but I did like to play my albums at 45.

Not only do I remember I still have vinyl in all those speeds. Way cool.

Have a fabulous day my friend. :)
