My teachers in grade school made certain i knew these. Also that "till" means to work the ground, but if you are trying to shorted the word until, it's "'til" with only one letter L.

I spent many years trying to teach these common errors. They are not really that hard to learn.
You actually need to understand the language and its "bones" to be able to use it effectively.
