2016 SEC Championship

Alabama's Crimson Tide v. Florida's Gators.

Youngest daughter spent her freshman year at the University of Alabama and then grad work at the University of Florida.

Guess which team she's rooting for?

If i had attended both, i'd feel duty bound to root for both!

I attended three Big Ten schools. I know the feeling.

Messymimi: My husband and daughter were at the game and texted me occasionally. He wore green and she wore gray. I asked if that meant they were conflicted. Yes! They were both rooting for a Bama win, but both didn't want Florida to lose. ???? I'm still scratching my head over that one.

In case you're wondering, the above is a message from our cat, Missy Moo. I'm not sure, but she may be recounting her university experience ;)

You must have quite the colorful collection of jerseys and t-shirts.

It makes perfect sense to me that you like two people or two teams enough that you don't want either one to lose. Your heart rejoices with the winner and cries with the loser and you almost wish it could end in a tie. Then reality sets in and you realize not everybody gets a trophy, and you hope the losing team gets a better shot next year.

Messymimi: when you put it that way, it does make sense.
