Dogs Vs Water

The unabashed joy of these dogs playing in water made me smile. I hope it does the same for you.

I LOL'ed. Timmy growls at his water dish if it threatens to splash him.

Sandee: Good deal. I'm glad I brought some smiles to you today.

Jan: So did I. I wish I could get Elke, our German Shepherd, to love the water, but she is determined not to. She acts as though every bath is torture and won't even consider jumping into our pool.

So, you named you dog after me because I do the same things around water. Cool!

These were killer good. Love 'em. Brought the tablet over to hubby so he could laugh too. Great stuff. Thanks for the post.

Timothy Hecht: Jan are you listening? I guess I should expect a call from Elke Sommars soon about the name of our dog ;)

The Happy Whisk: Glad you and hubby liked the post. Our German Shepherd acts as though water is torture and she will have none of it so we enjoy watching other people's dogs enjoying water.

Messymimi: I know. Doesn't it make your heart sweal to see such unabashed joy? We loved it.

Fun! Sounds like Elke and my Zeke would be good buds. Of course, we're happy Zeke doesn't want any part of our vinyl lined inground. He'd make short work of that. I loved the black lab in the fountain. Waiting on some birds?

DaBlade: Yes, our chicken dogs would get along very well and they'd excel at the water avoidance dance.

I think that black lab was one of my favorite parts of the video. I think he was just looking to cool off. That dog may have wanted to chase some birds, but he didn't look like he would do any damage beyond scaring them away. Just a big ole goofy dog :)
