Have you seen the video where these Punk Rocker guys pick on some dude waiting in line for Star Wars? The Star Wars geek literally punched the punk's lights out.

tlm: I think people who get upset over being called a Trekkie are taking it way too seriously. They should just relax.
I dad is one of those people who want to be called a Trekker and not a Trekkie. But I just want to be called a ST fan!
