AP Bias

From Sunday's Boston Herald online comes Say No To AP’s Shoddy Work by Jules Crittenden which exposes several incidents that the Associated Press has been delivering unbalanced reports about U.S. national politics for some time.

Unbalanced reports? I think Crittenden is being kind here, but he goes on to make
a better observation, "The AP, once a just-the-facts news delivery service, has lost its rudder. It has become a partisan, anti-American news agency that seeks to undercut a wartime president and American soldiers in the field. It is providing fraudulent, shoddy goods. It doesn’t even recognize it has a problem."

That's all fine and dandy, but where else does a newspaper go to get the news?

And besides this article, have you even heard any of this from the MSM?

I guess Kramer and Britney non-news plays better than media bis.

A good point about Blog traffic Exchanges there aren't many comments generated by them, but I have gained a few readers from blog advance, Blogmad seems to be the best one for getting people who actually read.

woman: yes, nancyrowena is a new nanc.

I would like to see this story get some legs. It would sure improve the news from Iraq if the AP didn't get a blank check on making up stories. Just report the facts!

Michelle Malkin had a piece on this and it was mentioned by some back in early July. It hasn't gotten enough play though.

elmer's bro: early july? early july? I'm becoming apoplectic about this delay. Why hasn't this become part of the daily news?

And they have the nerve to say FOX news is kowtowing to the Bush administration... yeah, right.

FOX is just closer to being fair than the rest of the MSM, but they're still driven by the allpowerful ratings.

nancyrowina: thanks for the input. I would rather have traffic that reads AND comments. Of course, traffic that just reads is also appreciated ;-)

this one was about an outright lie of one of Bush's visits to Wisconsin

Powerline is all over this. The US military is holding an AP photographer who was caught in an Al Queda bomb factory. I believe this happened back in July of this year.

AP has been complicit with the terrorists.

Jamil Hussein was mentioned as a source in 61...get that? and yet they haven't produced him yet.

I can't find the article I saw back in July but this has been brewing for some time.

elmer's bro: 61 stories & all the AP has to say is that they can't always use government approved sources. Unbelievable!

Thanks for the references.
