Holocaust Denial

From the LA Times comes Why They Deny The Holocaust By Ayaan Hirsi Ali.

Because, Ali says, "On top of nearly constant anti-Semitic propaganda, much of the Muslim world hasn't even heard of it."

The educational system provided in Moslem countries is abysmal, to say the least, and needs to be brought into the 21st century. We ignore this at our peril.

i havent ever really thought about it before now, but i suppose i havent heard of many middle east countries who were involved in WW11 except maybe Turkey, and they are only sort of middle eastern... weird that i hadnt noticed that before.

i do not know a lot about the middle east. i dont understand really the lack of universal education et al because its every where else in the world, east and west alike. and with the area in such peril, how does the rest of the world go about educating them?

i have asked, as have many others "havent we learned the lessons of the past here?" but i suppose that if they dont KNOW the past, they cant have learned from it.

The middle eastern countries deliberately mislead their people. Many Turks still deny the Armenian Genocide, Palestinian maps show no country of Israel, etc. Deliberate
misinformation is quite prevalent there, as is rabid anti-semitism.

You would think that in this day and age, the world would be better informed.

Don't worry... He'll be beaten half to death as soon as prayer time is over for his lack of prostration.

Been happening here in the good ole USA for 50 years. Islamic countries and North Korea have complete control over the masses because they have been raising a generation of ignorance, programming them what to think. It has been going on here in America also, since the 50's starting with college students being programmed by communist thinking professors, (who are still at it) and look where we are today. Too many in this country have been completely brainwashed and reprogrammed by liberals who propagate hate, mistrust and ungodly thinking, while the good people have done nothing about it but wag their finger and talk about what a shame it is. If things don't change and we don't wake up and start doing something about this avowed enemy we call liberal agenda, we will be another bunch of idiots like the islamics.

I agree Watchman, America needs to wake up soon!

I agree with Watchman too. The liberal agenda, working via the NEA and the MSM, have created generations of dumbed-down Americans who value entertainment & not much else. It has to stop.

We have one of the best educational systems in the world (yes we do, don't argue) and we still have children who don't know any history or geography. These folks don't even have education, outside the koran. I am not at all surprised that recent history is completely beyond them.

I have the training and experience to know and recognize far right "and" far left propaganda if you want to call it that Mr. Ducky. And no, I am not dominated by hate by any measure, but I see plainly that you are one of the liberal propagandists. When and where do you think you were ever given the right to do wrong without consequence?

I am neither "a" liberal nor "a" conservative, but consider my sympathies to lean toward conservatism which is "right" and not liberalism is "wrong". I am also neither a democrat (who are leftist) nor a Republican (who are rightist)but a full red blooded Independent American Army Veteran Retiree, ready to fight again the recognizable enemy "within" this country which is the liberal agenda.

Anyone with half a brain would recognize a liberal for what they really are by examining their fruits, but those of us that can see through their lies and spin never fall victim to their brain washing propaganda.

Your post to challenge me I recognize as being nothing more than a mind control technique to discredit the messenger to kill the message, which has been used for centuries and used extensively by liberal pundits for 50+ years to fan the flames of hatred. The President of the United States has been persecuted in this way and it has caused great damage to the country. All over ideology and politics, which I recognize as being the enemy just as much as Al Quaida.

No, my "screed" is not itself dominated by "hate", but on the contrary is dominated by "love" of God, Country,Family, Church, and Others in that descending order. Just a plain ole American who is in overwhelming majority in spite of the noise that liberals make. ;o)

Well stated, Watchman! The role of watchman is hard and often thankless, especially among the chattering class. Their thinking has become so perverted and disconnected with reality that they think the enemy is the "Return of the King"!
Thank you for your service!
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

mr ducky: any one person is capable of hate, but honestly, I see more hate on the liberal left than the conservative right. The left is also quick to censor what they don't agree with.

birdwoman: we spend more on educational system, but that alone doesn't make it the world's best.

It has become corrupted with PC & liberal dogma which takes away classroom time better spent on math, science, history, geography, english, etc.

watchman: I agree. We are in the majority, but the liberals screech louder :-)

tmw: Yes, the left could use a dose of reality.

Thanks a lot for the positive attitudes and comments. I would like to invite each of you to link to my blog: http://www.veteranstillserving.com to the Ideology category and I will share much information about these liberals to let you know how to deal with them. Of course that includes Mr. Ducky also.
