Stardust Pays Off

From New Scientist comes this news...

Found: First Amino Acid On A Comet

NASA's Stardust Mission has found glycine, an amino acid that is one of the building blocks of life, in the tail debris of icy comet, Wild 2.

Fascinating.

Hey Cube thanks for the input. That is exactly the conclusion a friend and I came to just moments before I opened your comment. Plan is to ignore her and if necessary put on my moniter for a while. I know it is impossible to fill an empty hole, but I just get so frustrated at the total ignorance. Especially from someone who is not even an American and has no understanding of our free market system.
Thanks again, really appreciate it.
I have another blog that is not as deep as some of the other political blogs, but if you want to visit sometimes, it is Grammasrightagain. I have the link on my sidebar.
Certainly will be over to see what you are thinking in the future.
Thanks again. By the way, Chuck is one of my daily reads.

A bit of galactic seeding, perhaps?

CrazyBunnyLady: Yeah, I thought so too.

Gramma 2 Many: Glad to speak my mind and glad you agree. Thank you for the personal reply.

Trying to talk to a die-hard liberal is like trying to teach a pig to sing. You just end up with an annoyed pig and no good songs.

The Lib Basher: You're new here and haven't seen THIS

Brooke: It sure looks like that. Makes me think of 2001: A Space Odyssey and the star child.

I bet if they look close enough at this comet they'll find yellow dye number 5 too. ;)

Larry Durham: lol! I think yellow dye #4 is more ubiquitous.

How exciting! Thanks for the article. I'll be passing it on.

BTW I used to have a tee shirt with the "never teach a pig to sing" saying on it. Ha.

Ananda Girl: I know you're busy, but I'm glad that you took time from your schedule to post here.

I'd bet your pig tee-shirt would be a bigger hit than my Wolfram mathematica tee-shirts. My girls hate to be seen with me when I wear one of them.

I instantly thought of Mr. Spock when I read that.
