I don't see the truth as elusive in this particular case.
There are a lot of people who feel that America's power and that it's virtuous concept (all men are created equal and should be treated equally under the law) as a threat to power relationships. The election of Donald Trump is a case in point. We have the largest GDP in the world and the people themselves (armed to the teeth) are able to pull down the anointed Hillary, one of their own.
Naturally the rot is concentrated in the media who act as proxies and propagandists for the power-elite.
Witness if you will how the "free cheese" culture has enslaved generations economically to create a stable voting block. Hillary relied on that voting block - but free people betrayed her.
LL: I love your use of the phrase "the free cheese culture". Yes, they're thoroughly hating Trump's ideas, but there are some of us who want to see it succeed for America's sake.
Jan: Yes, let's see how helpful he'll be when a student's artwork happens to gratify a work depicting a work of Christianity or Judaism. I would love a photo of it in his office.
Jan: If your hero congressman agrees to display a very affirmative Christian and/or Judaic work of art in those very halls, then I'll agree with your affirmation of him.

Maybe the powers agree with Jack that "we can't handle the truth." An honest press could do much to expose the truth. Congressman is my new hero.

I love this video. Spot on. The rules are different depending on what side of the aisle you are on.
Have a fabulous day. ☺

Sandee: Yes, often times it depends on which side of the bullwhip you're on.
We will never get the truth. Too much money and too much evil.
Kid: You're right, but it doesn't mean we stop fighting the evil.
Heck No ! We never stop ! This is Life on the Earth and always has been and always will be.
Kid: Yes, we fight the good fight.
