Granny Annie: I love the Savage Chicken cartoons as well. It's such a classic, like The Far Side. I especially like the science and science fictions ones like this one particular strip.
Sandee: I watched the 6th installment of the Alien series over the weekend and I'm still hyped about it. True crime and forensics isn't my only passion.
The creature you see in the strip is an Alien and its blood is acid so you see how a paper cut might be a problem :)
I'm going to pretend that movie came out about 6 months from now when I can watch for free. Or is it free already... I'm so out of touch. :) How did you like it.
I really didn't like the one with the penal colony.. did like the others.
Kid: I watched Alien: Covenant on demand for $5.99 and I got to watch it a whole day utilizing my DVR's wonderful fast forwarding, pause and fastback skills. I thought it was a deal. Although the Prometheus movie (#5) did expand the Alien mythos somewhat, I thought Covenant (#6) was a much better movie and expanded the story even more.
Now, if the next movie can bring the story full circle to Alien, I'll be a very happy geek.
P.S. Alien 3 (the penal colony) was a godawful mess. The death of Ripley made me more than misty-eyed and I'm not a crier by nature. It was up there with the death of Spock in Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan.

Never heard of this, but I'm not a Science Fiction fan.
Have a fabulous day. ☺

My kids are all into sci-fi but I've never gotten the appeal except for Ray Bradbury and a few others
Jan: Bradbury is one of the greats in the field, but there are others that are just as good.
I think I'm in the wrong place. I's been obvious for a long time.
I love alien theme films. There are some I want to make myself If I ever hit the jackpot...
Thank goodness he doesn't seem to have GERD or his face would have melted.

Snaggle Tooth: You and me both.
DaBlade: I couldn't even begin to imagine how bad GERD would be for an alien with acid for blood... maybe it's just milk?
