A New Low For Dax

My dog, Dax, vomited into her food bowl today! Right into several cups of Pedigree Digestive Care chow.

Bleccch! Lucky for you I did not whip out the digital camera & share the sight with the blogosphere.

Has anyone ever heard of a dog doing that?

Sounds like a clear "critique" of the food, to me! Surfed in via BE.

Rusty (our chow/retriever mix) tends to vomit if he eats to fast.

But never IN his food bowl.

You may want to intervene before Dax's bulimia problem gets out of control.

Reminded me of Proverbs 26:11 and 2nd Peter 2:22.

Ticks me off when my dog gets into the kitty litter box.

Bulimia LOL! That hadn't occurred to me.

We've tried many brands of dog food & Pedigree is the one she eats with gusto.

I dunno, perhaps it was just accidental. I don't think she's bright enough to plan & coordinate a vomit landing.

And like prying1's dog, Dax does "returneth" to the kitty litter box on occasion.

Like I said, she's not too bright.

Yep my dogs done that sometimes too and its gross and then she'll want to eat it again *eww*. Also could be the food bowl may be to low? I got a stand for my dogs bowl and water which is level of her shoulders for better digestion instead of having to bed down to the floor.

Thanks Blueyes. We just placed her bowls on a stool hoping that it will help.

The food you are feeding that dog is garbage, made of pig bristles, chicken feathers and other virtually uneatable ingredients including the burnt uneatable grease, fat, burnt chocolate and other not fit for humans bi-products from restaurant and food factories. Then it's mixed with cheap fillers like corn and additives are put in that make all the uneatable garbage taste better along with large doses of preservatives and a few vitamins and minerals. Unless you are buying dog food with human grade ingredients, those are the types of things that you are feeding your dog. Pedigree and it's kind can cause tumors, bladder stones, excess shedding, dry skin, allergies and a whole host of other health problems in dogs. So if I was your dog, I'd throw up in my dinner too.
