The BLOG first hit the blogosphere on October 4, 2004. This was the first entry:
Klaatu barada nictu. This is not a test. This is for real...The Blog's first day of existence, but hey the universe is a cold place & doesn't really care.
Anyway, I couldn't think of a better way to mark the anniversary than with the unveiling of the beautiful logo designed by blogbuddy MCF of MCF's Nexus of Improbability .
Kudos to my favorite cloaked figure!

Hey, Congrats on the Blogiversary; mine's around the corner. I wish I could say I designed the logo knowing yours was coming up, but mainly I looked at my link list for names that inspired interesting visuals. The timing just worked out well; glad you liked it.
