Naked Bias

[click on image to see larger view of photo]

Since Wednesday, the blogosphere has been atwitter over a photograph on the White House Web site of Cheney with a caption that said he was fly-fishing on the Snake River in Idaho.

Is That Really A Naked Woman In Dick Cheney's Sunglasses?

Turns out it was a hand casting a flyfishing rod.

Doesn't it seem like the republicans never get the benefit of the doubt?

Sheesh.

Hey man, even if it was a naked lady, I'd say that's way more Mrs. Cheney's problem than mine! I don't need to hear about it.

At least he didn't shoot anyone in the face. That was some wild news!

I think public officials should show better judgement, especially in this YouTube world.

this is akin to people who see the virgin mary in their toast.

nanc: I guess people see what they want to see.

Exactly, Cube.

LOL the naked lady would have spiced things up. Cheney isn't really lucky with his hunting and gathering tactics ROFL

I never believed it for a moment. Fishing and naked women do not go together...and I'm one that likes both.

A naked lady would have been more interesting than a fishing scene.

jan: Not for Lynn Cheney ;-)

Cube,

I'm reminded of the time, about two years ago, when President bush answered a question from a German reporter about a fond memory. The story, a total distortion due to the translation from English to German, related to Bush's fond recollection of catching an eight pound blue gill in his lake on the property in Crawford, Texas.

Naturally the Bush haters went to work and found that the record blue gill was less than half that large and every panzy who ever had to find someone to bait their hook laughed and howled at the liar Bush.

Problem was, Bush built the bass pond, maintains the bass pond, stocked it with bass (Florida largemouth!) and said it was a bass.

The media b__tards ran with an attack on the man so full of holes that they should have been embarrassed for themselves. Of course it was just a brick in the wall of B.S. errected against Bush and Republicans.

All the left has is lies-it's a blessing they are so bad at it!

QQ: Spot on. I remember that incident myself. Our President has been maligned on so many levels that it becomes a tiresome task for regular folks to unwind the truth from within the veritable Gordian knot of lies that surround him and his administration.

I say, don't let the MSM think for you anymore. Don't let them set your agenda anymore.

Ferret out the truth on your own because the MSM is not going to do it for you.

I clicked to enlarge the photo. Those would be some odd looking boobs if that were a naked lady.
My goodness, Dick Cheney will NEVER be looked at in a good light by the media. He could singlehandedly secure peace in the Middle East and even cure cancer, and the media would find a way to ridicule him.
The funny thing is, I don't think he gives a rat's arse what the media says or thinks about him. I think Dubya feels the same way. They don't seem to get their feathers ruffled by the media unless they think someone else is harmed. It it's just them that the media is tearing to shreds, they don't seem to lose any sleep over it. I think that's great!

j.d.: I agree. The "image" was kind of weird, if you ask me, but the MSM will jump at the slightest hint of impropriety on the right, while bending over backwards to give the benefit of the doubt to the left.

It's just funny to point it out and see the liberals squirm.

Wow, this is the best they can come up with? Oh, and there was some article in our local paper about Cheney being quoted as saying if he wanted to be loved he'd be a newscaster or some such bunk. The article (editorial?) talked about how he's lacking love in his life because he's an evil person. They totally misunderstood him because they're idiots who hear what they want to hear.

bw: Absolutely. Cheney is not evil, he's just "drawn" that way by the MSM.

You know what I see in the reflection?
