Captain's Chair

Star Trek Chairs For The Lounge - A Bridge Too Far?

Not if you ask me. I'd love one of these chairs for myself, but the price tag for a
replica is $2,717.01 Earth dollars. That's a bit steep for my budget.

Still, that's a bargain compared to what the original chair from the 1960s series which was auctioned off for... a whopping $305,200.

Yikes!

Trekkie Scott Veazie built his own Captain Kirk command chair ... Getting Their Kirk On

There's an idea. I think I'll commission Mr. Cube to build me one. He's very handy.

Sounds like a winner to me.

That would be cool for the game room. Put me down for a fake though, it's not worth hundreds of thousands to me (plus I don't have that much)

Jill: Hmmm, I detect a little sarcasm...

Chuck: Yep. It would be so cool.

And it could be done cheaply for time and materials, especially if it's Mr. Cube's time. He won't charge me.

Seriously with modern materials, some power tools and a little talent that looks quite buildable.

Is that a word?

How much is the chair in gold pressed latinum?

Jan: If it isn't a word, it should be.

Brooke: Let me see, just how much gold pressed latinum are you willing to part with for that chair?

If that isn't one of The Laws of Acquisition, it should be.

Cool chair! Too pricey for me.

Battlestar Galactica sold off some things from their show. I would love to have bought something for my daughter. We really like that show, and the series just ended.
