For this Cat Blog Friday...
... cats rowing.
Why rowing cats, you ask?
Well, my youngest borrowed a rowing machine, also known as an "erg", so she can practice over the summer. Yikes! Now I have this ginormous machine in the living room
until school starts back up.
Ahh, the trials and tribulations of a crew mom.
Happy Friday, everybody!

I love the owl and the pussy cat! That's what this reminds me of.
So now that a beast inhabits your home, have you tried to take it for a spin yet? I would have trouble resisting. ;-)
Those are great for abs and biceps, not to mention aerobic benefits.
row, row, row your boat,
gently down the stream
merrily said the little cat..
"don't get me wet, I'll SCREAM!"
oh, well!
have a great weekend Cube, Mr. Cube and Cubettes!
cube - Who did the cats rowing painting? I love it! Sorry about your living room.
Ananda girl: Not yet, but I am looking forward to using it.
My daughter gets horrible blisters and she's stiff for days afterwards when they do their training routines.
Me, I think I'll take it slow.
Jan: It's great exercise. I plan to use it, but I'm going to take it slow.
Z: Thank you. Love your cat poem. I hope you and yours have a great weekend too.
Sue: Sorry, but I don't know. I went back & tried to retrace my steps, but for some reason I couldn't find this picture again. Maybe someone out there knows who the artist is and can enlighten us.
P.S. My living room will just have to learn to live with it the extra clutter. It's all good.
Why is it called an erg? Interesting.
commoncents: Thanks!
jen: An erg is the unit of energy & mechanical work & is derived from the Greek "ergon" meaning work. I think it's because if you spend 15 minutes rowing on this machine & you will know the meaning of work.
I wonder just low long it will stay there useful before it becomes part of the decor.LOL!
BLESSED MEMORIAL DAY my friend!
Hi
this is very cute painting - cats & owl and boat...thank you for sharing this...the other thing I would like to share with you is that there's a person who knows pets' language and she can communicate with them, if you're curious about it, can check out: www.mrsdolito.com and one true funny story from consultation: http://www.mrsdolito.com/consultation-story/toffycomedian.html
Do you at least get to stand behind her and yell "STROKE"?
That would be worth it. ;)
have you seen the whack a kitten vid? it's highlarious! reminds me of in the jerk when they were juggling kittens...>^00^< raerft!
Jill: I can tell you it wasn't touched all Memorial Day weekend.
WomanHonorThyself: Thank you, buddy! Same to you.
Tracy: Thank you. Glad you liked it. Funny story, but I doubt most
psychic claims.
Brooke: Qualified coxswain's need to yell way more than STROKE, but
it is a fun excuse to yell though.
nanc: lol! That video is a hoot. But it makes me miss the days when we had a mess of kittens all over the house.
