You can't make up something this tacky...

How's that hope and change thing working for you?

I'm having trouble with the idea of $40.00 for a tee shirt!

The lunch thing actually makes me laugh. It's wrong, but funny.

If I had time to read, I would get a couple of these for certain people who are currently looking quite bewildered.

Ananda Girl: It's two t-shirts for $40, but even that is over priced for a shirt you won't wear often.

Charging for lunch at the WH is
tacky, tacky, tacky. Did I mention how tacky this is?

Didn't these CEO's already pay for their lunch with their tax dollars? Top 1% of tax payers pay more income tax than the bottom 95%...

Nothing is overpriced if you can find a buyer!

I have a little different take on this. These CEOs can afford their own lunches, without it being on the taxpayer dime.

However, it would be tacky of the host to require that. Therefore, millionaire Barack Obama can afford it. He should pay for it out of his own pocket.

Just like any real American family does when they have dinner guests.

Are those low-impact organic T's, or conventional cotton? Get with the program people!

Hey Cube, you wanna come over for a pizza? Make sure you bring your wallet...

How RUDE!

In the unlikely event that I am ever invited to the White House, I'm going to decline!

Dr. John: I agree. They do pay inordinate amount of the total tax revenue... when they pay them ;-)

Krispy: True, but if I were invited to the WH for a working lunch, I would be shocked if I were asked to pay.

dmarks: Interesting point, but BO would never spring for that.

DaBlade: Probably made by ChiCom slave labor.

Brooke: I think it is rude and tacky.

As for a visit to the WH, I would decline or accept depending the occupant at the time. I would've jump at the chance before January 2009.

I see TEH ONE is still spending other people's money - even when it's not coming out of the treasury...
