Ananda Girl: I agree. Even though the one on the left looks older, it still looks more robotic to me.
BoingBoing is an eclectic site with something for everybody.
dmarks: I had some real doozies in college myself. Robots would've definitely been an improvement... anyway until they rampage and kill the humans in the room for no reason.
BTW I think the arms flapping routine will be part of the 2.0 version. After all everybody loves an emotional unstable robot. See above ;-)
FL Tea party drama The Port St.Lucie tea party was held at a community event called "Freedom Fest" which is held at the St Lucie fairgrounds. The Tea Party was held at section 2 of the fairgrounds. The City Council placed a huge sign in front of the section in an admitted attempt to hide the Tea Party. Next week the City Council is having a meeting and the Tea Party folks are planning to invade it. I suggest calling the mayor and city council and telling them what you think the Mayor's/city council's phone # (407) 871 5159 and their website www.cityofpsl.com Let's pass this to every conservative tea party supporting site we can!!!!

I am guessing that the Asian person is a bot.
What an interesting site that led to... I really liked the Frank L. Baum story. But all of it is interesting.
I for one welcome our new Asian graduate student robots...
Actually, I had some pretty bad graduate student teaching assistants in college. Replacing them with robots might be an improvement.
I hope there is a video of her somewhere going "Danger Danger!" and flapping her arms up and down.
The one on the left is the robot.

Andrew33: Worthwhile post, but totally off topic. It can be a bit off-putting if you catch my drift.
