Beware of The BLOG...it creeps, it leaps, it glides & slides all over the place.
Every day it's a new bizarre sad story from the border.
Ok. This is a weird one. I personally do not care for monkey and they do not like me. However, I sure don't want to see them harmed. Anyone who uses and abuses animals is horrible and should be rolled up in a tube sock and hung.
Trestin: You're right. Mexico and the border areas seem to be in extremis right now and it isn't just human victims as witnessed by this story.
Ananda Girl: I don't like large monkeys or apes, but the little third world monkeys can be rather cute, although not as a pet. NEVER as a pet. You're right about how they shouldn't be harmed, even the nasty, unappealing ones ;-)
Sadly he probably would have found buyers. Wonder what the next item smuggled from the border will be.
you cant make this stuff up Cube!
Too bad one of them didn't bite him in the, well you get the point.
Jan: These are heartless people who don't stop at hurting any life on this planet. WomanHonorThyself: Really. I hadn't even heard of a titi monkey until today. Chuck: lol. I'm rooting for the monkeys too.
Ah, yes, animal abuse. Just another element, like driving drunk, of machismo Mexican culture.
Karen Howes: I don't know that it's limited to Mexico, but the machismo culture is bad news wherever it occurs. I don't like the idea of a larger and more powerful being picking on a lesser one, whether it's an animal or a person. It just doesn't sit well with me.
I hate monkeys. Especially titi monkeys.
Brooke: How can you hate these cute little animals? They're like the guinea pigs of the monkey world.
Those monkeys are really annoying. I hate all monkeys.
