That was such a horrific event. I cannot imagine how difficult that would be for Sydney to deal with all that goes with such a thing.
Sometimes, no matter how terrible your parent may have been to you or to others, you cannot help but still feel love for them. There were good memories with the bad ones. There was a time when daddy was the hero.
Whatever she decides, good luck to her. Seeing him will be an emotional nightmare, even if it turns out that she is glad that she did. It may also help her decide if she wants to continue to see him.
Jan: I hope she and her brother are able to go on with their lives.
Brooke: I think SBS has been superceded by "pink slime". I'll have to find ways of incorporating that into The BLOG.
Silly Rabbit: I don't know how in your heart of hearts you can deal with the idea that your father killed your mother in such a horrific way. If SBS and her brother can get past that, then they're stronger than I am.
