I've never been able to drink beer. An allergy to hops?I'm not much of a wine drinker either although I enjoy an occasional glass of the fruit of the vine.I do have a fondness for strawberry daiquiris and mint juleps -- and brandy. **smile**
Cube - I don't drink anymore but when I did I liked red wine, martinis and Baileys.
I've never been much of a beer drinker except when we lived in Germany - I really liked that beer.
Always On Watch: I used to drink beer but I gave it up because I prefer to be thin. Now I just stick to mixed drinks. Although when I make a pasta dish, I really like a glass of red wine. Pasta and red wine are perfect together.
Sue Hanes: Martinis are good as long as they're very dry. Never had Baileys. And I hear German beer is the best in the world. I'd love to break my beer diet and try some.
