I refuse to acknowledge that summer is over until September 21 and even then I may continue to wear short pants. I haven't had a tan since I heard about Melanoma. Sp?
I don't want summer to be over either. And because I live in Florida summer won't be over just yet. But still, I don't have a tan. I'm still glow in the dark white. I can't believe summer came and went so fast.
I managed to eke out a tan, but just barely. Too much interference this summer with my getting to enjoy being a lounge lizard at the neighborhood swimming pool.
According to the traditional way it was reckoned, summer is July, August, and September. All of September. By that tradtion, you still have a couple of weeks!

We're in a heat wave so summer is still here.
Have a summer type of day. ☺
Sandee: I don't even have a tan. What the heck have I been doing all summer.

Always On Watch: It's just been too busy here, too.
Messymimi: I've still got some time for a tan. I'm getting on it right now.
