Someone needs to let that cat know that the New Year festivities have formally come to an end. (Always the last cat to leave the party, I suspect.)

This more or less confirms my suspicions that our pets can’t be trusted. Your cat has a drinking problem, and my dogs are liars. We probably need another government bureaucracy to straighten this mess out.
They should make a new video series called, "Cats Gone Wild."
