Beware of The BLOG...it creeps, it leaps, it glides & slides all over the place.
I can't believe it. Ironic indeed: they should have seen that coming.
Oops, Is that a sine off?
zydeco fish: They would've seen it coming IF THEY WEREN'T FAKE!jill: It was a deliberate play on words. The magazine is signing off, but I don't follow astrology and prefer to use sine, the mathematical reference.
Reminds me of last weekend when the hubby drug us to a flea market. We passed a "psychic" with her head buried in her hands, presumably deep in contact with the other side, or whatever, with a customer seated.Attached to her chair was one of those little yappy dogs.I couldn't contain a very loud chortle, and then said, "I bet I know what that dog is thinking."I got a pretty nasty look for it. :)
brooke: It reminds me of going out to dinner over the holidays with a couple who are dear friends. The restaurant was in a bohemian area near the beach with musicians, etc., and a $20/reading psychic. Just as a joke, our friend decided she would get a "reading". It began with how good a person she was (true) and how she gave more of herself than she expected (true) and how she needed to take time for herself (true) and how she was a homebody who eschewed travel and loved home (FALSE). I sauntered away and listened to a less than good rendition of "Me & Bobby McGee". At least that was free of charge.
I remember back in my more immature days when I called a psychic hotline and was put on hold for over an hour before my reading...Yep, you guessed it - the phone bill was over $500.
