I worked in the ER on one of the Fiday the 13ths, I'm not superstitious but you can't help but think...

I think I've dreamed about this cat!

Nanc-- love the kitty face.

Friday the 13ths have been happy days for me. I'm not superstitious about it at all, unless to think that they are lucky days. ;)

cube - I see there is another SUE.
This is the liberal Sue speaking.
I love your Jason black cat Friday the 13th. I'm not superstitious, but I never watch Jason movies!

Friday the 13ths have generally been good days for me, so I don't mind seeing them roll around. In fact, I have been looking forward to this one.

Chuck: You're not the only one who
feels that way. Many first responders and ER personnel also dread full moons because it seems to make the crazies come out of the woodwork.

Nanc: Just when you think it can't get worse, surprise!, it does.

Ananda girl: I'm not superstitious about #13 or Friday the 13th either, but I think there are people who are and they're the ones who act up.

Sue: Glad you liked it. Thanks for stopping by.

sue: Hey, glad to hear from you again. Jason movies are not my favorites either. I prefer horror movies with more suspense and less gore.

BTW how do you know that the other Sue isn't a liberal too? I'm just saying... ;-)

Citizen of the world: That's generally how it's been for me as well. Bad things can happen any old time and, conversely, so can the good.

Crazy Bunny Lady: Glad you liked it. Thanks for dropping by.

As a part of our homeschooling co-op, another mom and I set up what we called the Anti-Paraskavedekatriaphobia Stitching Circle, because we had 2 Friday the 13ths to play with this session.

Here's the description I wrote: What is paraskavedekatriaphobia? It's the irrational fear of Friday the 13th! But, we're not afraid, are we? For the next few months, we want you to think, "It's Friday the 13th, I want to knit, crochet or do the needle art of my choice with my friends!"

It's been a big hit :-D We're meeting tonight, of course! Fun stuff. If you're going to be in Denver, buzz me and I'll tell you where to find us!

Jen: That sounds like an awesome project, but then, I'm not surprised because you're an awesome homeschooling mom.

You make me want to be in Denver even though I'm in t-shirt & shorts weather here in Florida today ;-)

I don't know if you'll want to share this with your kiddies, but I think 'friggatriskaidekaphobia' is a way more fun word for fear of Friday the 13th than paraskavedekatriaphobia.

I agree, I will tell them about that.

The stitching group has decided to get together again in November, when there's another Friday the 13th. :-)

Jen: We are awash with them this year. Three is rare.
