Sanctioned Thuggery

House Resolution 994, Directing the Attorney General to transmit to the House of Representatives all information in the Attorney General's possession relating to the decision to dismiss United States v. New Black Panther Party was rejected.

House Panel Rejects Black Panther Resolution: Vote 15-14

I want to know which representatives voted to reject it, which ones voted for it, and the ones who didn't bother to show up or just voted 'present'. I've searched several sites, even , but haven't found the roll call list.

I will keep looking and will post an update when I find it.

This is despicable. Whomever voted against the bill is sanctioning thuggery, intimidation, and pure racism. Voter intimidation must not be allowed. This was a slam dunk case until Holder and his minions got a hold of this case. This situation needs more attention. Actually, a fire Holder campaign sounds good to me.

It is despicable. Also despicable is how little press coverage this is getting. I've tried many sources and still can't get a roll call giving me the names of the representatives that voted to reject this resolution.

I called Rep. Wolfe's office and the guy who answered the phone couldn't (or wouldn't) give me the information, but he did refer me to, whom I emailed and was told they only list the full House votes (not the committee votes), but they referred me to the House site which I tried initially without any results.

What is going on here? Where is the transparency in government BO & Pelosi promised?

Somebody out there must've taken notes at this meeting. Somebody has to know who voted and how.

Hee-Haw. Donkey-speak for, "You're a frakkin' idiot and you don't need to know what we elites do behind closed doors."

This one really makes me ill. We are supposed to be guaranteed the right to vote without intimidation. The video taken at the time, proved that was exactly the case... intimidation. If we do not protect this right, how can our system be taken seriously? Is it a sham or not?

Have any of you noticed lately that, regardless of what laws are in place, there's always loopholes around them?

This country is going to hell in a handbasket.

Sanctioned thuggery - you betcha. This is what happens when you elect an Uncle Tom into the White House.

Two words: Open Government.

Eventually that phrase will be removed from our collective vocabulary altogether.
