So Sorry

Reid Apologizes For 'No Negro Dialect' Comment

OK, so Obama gives Harry Reid a pass on his racist remarks, but Republicans had to fire Trent Lott?

Obama In '02: 'The Republican Party Itself Has To Drive Out Trent Lott'

Comon, people, what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Hope + Change = Chope and thats just one letter away from Choke.

Choking the Dems at this point sounds like a great idea!! Harry Reid should be forced to resign for his comments. Sen. Cornyn is calling for Reid's resignation.

Did you want to exchange follows?

I'm for choking the dems at this point (or at any point... heheh). Lott was forced to resign and so should Reid. Period.

Please be kind... I'm a bit of a noobie. What do you mean by exchange follows?

Where's the outrage on the part of the Libs?

Teresa said...

Pasadena,
The libs are bunch cowardly, selfish hypocrites. They only care about demonizing us freedom loving Americans.

I remember when Biden said that Obama was "clean." I never did figure out what that was.

Pasadena Closet Conservative: Where is the outrage on the part of the republicans? They should be screaming for Reid's head on a platter.

Teresa: They are and the republicans should be pointing that out to anyone who will listen.

Jan: I think it was "clean and articulate" and that got him the VP job. Go figure.

There is no excuse for this! He should step down like a man, and if he will not, he should be drummed out.

Ananda Girl: I hear ya, but Harry Reid is not and has never been a man. We can't expect him to act like one all of a sudden.

the hypocrisy of this Reid statement getting virtually a pass and Lott having to step down is amazing.......
Of course, the other Sen Reid who was on FOX today (not Harry) said "But Bush also wanted Lott out"..
see, the left can't do ANYTHING without drawing comparisons to or blaming Bush.

I want to know where the outrage is from Al Sharpton and the Rev JJ JR? Do they believe in their cause or not? Think they sat on the sidelines during the Trent Lott episode?

cube said...

Z: Bush and many republicans didn't stand up for Lott because they were mortified that the MSM would label them as racists.

It's easy to defend the indefensible when you know the press isn't going to go after you like a pack of rabid dogs.

The democrats have circled their wagons around Reid and calls for his resignation are being ignored by the NAACP and the rabble-rousing reverends.

Chuck: I heard sharpton on tv saying that what Reid said was offensive, but that he apologized for the "misstatement", and the apology was accepted. Case closed.

He said that what Lott said doesn't compare with what Reid said and that's the story they're going to stick with.

Chuck said...

Cube, I heard that too.

First, he would not being so forgiving if it were a conservative.

Second, he's disturbed by Clinton's remark (a few years ago he would be bringing us coffee) but not Reid's. Both are just as racist. He, like all other libs, are selling themselves out for health care.

I think this is the main reason Reid is getting a pass, no one wants to upset the debate. I think it is possible he may get thrown under the bus after this is over.

Cube, Dems are NEVER racist. They just didn't mean it that way.

HYPOCRISY!!!

The left has more nerve than the base of a working brain!

A little ways into Trent Lott's fiasco, he admitted to favoring affirmative action. I thought this, his favoring of denying rights by having the government punish and reward people for their skin color, was much more serious than what he actually got in trouble for.

and the libs are already making excuses!! Have a great day!:)

What a crock.

Chuck: The libs would be howling for the resignation of any republican who said what Reid said.

Sharpton has never had any principles beyond keeping himself in da money. He is laying off Reid because there's money in it for him.

Brooke: What was I thinking? Of course not.

Nanc: heheh. The operative word here is "working" which not one of the dems have.

dmarks: I agee. Lott mishandled the matter only marginally better than Imus mishandled his. Both apologized endlessly, both sat down to talk with race-baiters and both were forced to resign anyway.

WomanHonorThyself: The libs know how to circle the wagons around one of their own who is in trouble.

Phoenix: Yes indeed, but they usually get away with their shenanigans thanks to a servile press.
