Girl Beats Boys To Pluck Cross From Water In Albania
Good for, 16-year-old Katerina Munguli, who beat a dozen boys and men diving for the cross from the bottom of a wintry Ionian Sea.
I can't read or see anything about Albania without this bit of doggerel going through my head:
"Albania, Albania, it borders on the Adriatic. Its land is mostly mountainous, and its chief export is chrome."
Does anyone out there know where that comes from?

I thought this would be an easy one. It comes from Cheers and has stuck with me all these years.
As far as Katerina goes, can you imagine the looks on the faces of the boys and the men who lost to this girl? I hope they don't decide to get even with her as a result.

Debbie: Thank you for that link. I was good to watch that clip of Coach & Sam singing the Albania song again after so many years.
My daughters also watched it and now they know the genesis of the song that pops into their heads when they hear the word Albania. They never watched Cheers, but they heard me sing it over the years and it stuck.
