Monday Humor

The continuous onslaught of Obama outrages are hard to deal with on Mondays, so...

A little bird was flying South for the winter. It was so cold, the bird froze and fell to the ground in a large field. While it was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on it. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of dung, it began to realize how warm it was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy and soon began to sing for joy.

A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung and promptly dug him out and ate him!

Management Lessons:
1) Not everyone who drops s**t on you is your enemy.
2) Not everyone who gets you out of s**t is your friend.
3) And when you're in deep s**t, keep your mouth shut.

:-)

Ananda Girl: Yes it does seem to fit. Exturid should be a word.

This is definitely Management 101, all you need to know not to get sh@t on.

Z: Thanks. I knew I was pushing the easy liberal kneejerk button when I used that expression, but it does get tiresome when there are two sets of rules that aren't on an even playing field.

November is closer than we think.

Is that a red-winged blackbird in that photo?

Sure looks like it.

I'm taken back to the day when red-winged blackbirds used to frequent Northern Virginia. No more! Not enough meadows or open fields, I guess.
