Elephants are awesome creatures, but extremely powerful. I don't know if I'd want to be a keeper.
I could not open the sites but believe the two headlines pretty well explained it all.

There's a lot of irony in this story that happened in Springfield, MO (the other side of state from me). The elephant's name was PATIENCE.
