Momofuku Ando 1910-2007

Momofuku Ando, the inventor of instant Ramen noodles, died of a heart attack in Japan on Saturday, January 6th.

In appreciation for your tasty, yet inexpensive dish, I won't make a gratuitous joke about your name ;-)

eyes: they are yummy.

nanc: no, I haven't tried the cup ones, just the cubed ones that come in the packages.

Nanc-My daughter would live on the cheese ones with a salad or apple!
I'm trying to use up some hurricane supplies, so this post has kicked in my creativity, how's this? Canned chicken, ramen noodles, veggies and curry?
Cube-The cup one's are good too, I like the roasted chicken myself. My son loooooooves the chile chicken!
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

tmw: Sounds good. We are well-stocked
with hurricane supplies, too. The MRE's are really delicious now & self-heating. Amazing.

They are fantastic, though high on the sodium.

They are the perfect quick meal for the kids; all three of mine looove them drained, with a pinch of the seasoning sprinkled on top. (Little wierdos. LOL!)

Cube: The cube kind come in larger cubes of six and twelve. ;)

ramen with homemade chili, cheese and chopped onions on it!

evan even likes to eat it uncooked right out of the package - eeeeeeek!

i like mine with butter and cayenne, brooke!

brooke: high sodium & high fat. I used to like them better when they were baked & the fat content was much lower.

Basically though, I love all things cubical ;-)

nanc: my eldest daughter is a buttered noodle fanatic. I think she'll flip for your buttered ramen noodle recipe.

my wife makes this really great salad with the uncooked noodles, red cabbage, cashews and some other stuff with a vinegar and sugar dressing. It's so yummy.
