The Queen Of Blood

FLIX is showing this sci-fi classic movie tomorrow at 9 a.m. and again at 5 p.m. Pre-saging "Alien", "Lifeforce", and "Species", this movie is a must see.

Yes, this is the sci-fi geek in me busting loose ;-)

The Beast actually saw this film at a drive-in movie theater as a very young child.

Watchers should note that a LOT of the story elements in the movie "Alien" was taken from this film.

It also features a very young Dennis Hopper.

This was also the last movie filmed in Technicolor.

raggedy: thanks. I'm glad you liked it.

h.b.: I saw it as a child myself and the sight of the green, bee-hive haired alien with the glowing eyes scared me for days afterwards.

I didn't know it then, but Forrest Ackerman played a cameo role as Dr. Farraday's (Basil Rathbone) assistant.
