Poe Toaster?

Everyone knows the tradition: Since 1949, every year on Edgar Allan Poe's birthday, a mysterious (uncloaked) figure leaves a half-bottle of cognac and three red roses on Poe's grave...

Poe Toaster

My question is, did it happen this year? Does anyone know?

Apparently, the Poe Toaster did appear and pay tribute. I got up early this morning to search the web for info. Check out this article. http://wjz.com/local/edgar.allan.poe.2.633696.html

My question is, though, does any one know which grave he visits? there is a marker where Poe was first burried at the back of the cemetery and then, there is his current monument at the front of the cemetery. Anybody know?

k.h.: thanks for the link.

Good question. I'm not sure, but I think it's the one pictured HERE . Of course, I'm not from Baltimore, so I may be wrong.

Maybe one of the locals will clarify the issue...
