Cat Blog Friday

For this Cat Blog Friday...

... a Boston cat who was found stiff and showing no signs of life in the snow, yet was rescued by an animal control officer and revived by veterinarians.

Cat Found Frozen Thaws, Survives

Poor little catsicle. I'm glad she survived her ordeal.

Happy chilly Friday, everybody!

That is really amazing that the cat thawed out and survived.

Hope the poor little thing finds a good home. My daughter just adopted a new one. Of course I have to wonder how "sneezy" feels about that.

Teresa: Yes. Cats are amazing creatures.

Jill: The article says she is being reunited with her family. Some people are complaining because they're the ones who let her out during a winter storm.

nanc: I hear you. I know I'm speaking for all Floridians when I say that we are officially tired of this unusually cold weather. I miss my t-shirts and my shorts.

Temp here this morning 10 degrees and a wind chill much lower. We had snow yesterday and it will stay on the ground until the temp warms up.... maybe Monday.

We live on a big hill, so I hate to drive on the ice. We get no help from the highway department either.

Penny the Beagle goes out to play, realized how darned cold it is, then wants right back inside. I don't blame her.

Keep warm.

Debbie: Good gravy! I wouldn't want to leave the house under those circumstances. I've lived in Florida since 1968 and don't know that I could handle such cold.

I feel for all of you, including Penny.

What an amazing story!

I love this one -- such a happy ending.

I want a cat so bad, but Big Sis has HORRIBLE allergies.

Any suggestions?

Little Jerry Seinfeld loves cats, by the way. He needs a haircut in the worst way right now, but alas, he might turn into a dogsicle if I shave him...

criogenic CAT? WOW!! (sp?)

Always on Watch: I agree.

Ananda Girl: She is a cute kitteh.

Jen: I'm thinking of one of those hairless cats, but they're so ugly-looking that it takes a special person to want to own one.

I think Little Jerry Seinfeld would appreciate you letting him go unshaven until the winter is past.

Z: I know what you mean. In other words, a catsicle ;-)

I read catsicle wrong, and it sure didn't look right.

This reminds me of this christmas song where the cat saves the mouse - you ever heard it? My son cries every time.
