Andreas Katsulas 1946- 2006

Veteran character actor, Andreas Katsulas, best known for his role as G'kar in Babylon 5, died Monday at the age of 59.

His career was a long and varied one, including numerous appearances on Star Trek: The Next Generation as Commander Tomalak, and more recently, on Enterprise as the Vissian Captain.

As a long-time sci-fi fan, I am saddened by his passing.

I've never seen any of those shows...but that pic is pretty scary looking.

That's too bad, phoenix.

BTW I know he looks scary, but actually G'kar was one of the good guys in B5.

That's sad.

I haven't seen B5 in a while. I have a friend who named her daughter after Delenn, I thought that was pretty cool.

I think you meant to say 1946-2006...

These sci-fi people have been dropping like flies lately. It's a shame.

I didn't want to be the one to bring it up, tlm, but let's hope it stops right here & now.

TNG had the best guest actors. Katsulas was one of them.

I thought of you when I heard this in the news. Sorry for your sci-fi loss, Cube.

If I'm not mistaken, he also played the One-Armed Man in "The Fugitive" movie...

yes, he was a good actor, and with him dies any chance for a new B5 movie. Three stars have died in the last year...and quite young at that.

Sorry, I never saw the Fugitive movie (just the old TV series) so I'm not sure.
