Just in case you didn't already know she was a twit...
First, Britney Spears was photographed driving with her 16-week old baby IN HER LAP.
Then, once the photos were circulated all over the Internet, she defends the act by blaming the paparazzi for chasing her.
Just because some people are able to procreate, doesn't mean they should.

Isn't that just a typical liberal? Do something stupid, then blame everyone else... Typical.
reminds me of the time I couldn't resist opening my big mouth one Saturday morning in the supermarket parking lot. A young hot stud father put his newborn in his open convertable Vet passenger seat. OK? Picture it, no roof, baby in front seat behind air bag in infant carrier, AND not strapped in. I walked by as he was about to drive away and I just had to say it:
"Hey you may as well put her on the hood as a hood ornament with all the safety precautions you're taking, at least she'll get a better view and everyone can admire her as you drive by".
I think you can guess what his resonse was. OUCH!!!
Amazing what some people can get away with. Where is a cop when you need one! Poor kid. Hope he survives childhood and manages to grow up with a brain. Never can tell, look at his parents-OMG
The words Britney Spears and parent just don't belong inb the same sentence, do they?
Unreal. She continues to give blondes everywhere a bad name.
Hey, not all stupids are blonde ;-)
What kind of dumb excuse is that? If you're being chased, that's even MORE reason to have your kid in a car seat.
I don't even know what to say. And that's really bad.
Not sure about this one. I agree she's a twit, no doubt.
But I recall riding around on my dad's lap in the car all the time, before these draconian laws like exactly how a kid must be strapped in. It's funny -- I'll just leave it at that, funny -- how in a few decades something that was standard has become the subject of moral indignation!

David, I agree with the Draconian law comments, however, now the danger is much greater because of the airbag that can immediately kill her baby if there was any impact beyond 10 mph.
rgmb: you took the words right out of my mouth. Airbag deployment would kill that baby instantly. It's just not the same as the old days anymore.
I don't know about you, but she didn't look horrified to me in that picture. Also what was she terrified of, having someone take a picture of her strapping in her baby?
You know how hazardous those flashbulbs going off can be to a baby's retinas ;-)
