JPL is right here in Pasadena, so we locals have paid close attention to Spirit and Opportunity over the years. It's fascinating.
I've had a fascination with Mars since I was a kid. Unfortunately,
the recent proposed cuts in NASA don't bode well for the future of our space program.
Now it will be known as a squatter vehicle.
This cartoon actually touched me emotionally for poor Rover.
