Smoky Sky

I took this picture at 9:30 AM Saturday morning. This is the eerie looking sky we've been looking at since Tuesday because 54 out of Florida's 67 counties have wildfires burning in them.

We really need the rain.

You're in my thoughts.

I find that very unsettling.
I hope you stay safe.

I appreciate your kind thoughts. We are totally safe at the moment. There are no fires near us, it's just smoke.

We're dealing with the pesky aspects, like burning eyes and a smoke-filled environment. We can deal with that. I really feel for those poor folks who are in harm's way.

It can't rain too soon for me, but it sure is nice to know that so many people out there care :-)

Oh Cube, it's the prevailing winds. Right now the east coast is clear, but we desperately need rain. I'm afraid that this summer is going to be a nightmare!
On a happier note, Happy Mother's Day!
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

We got our first rain in a while last night - a doozy of a thunder boomer. Did y'all get anything?

b.w.: We are bone dry. Much like the Dune planet Arrakis ;-)
