Affirmative Danger
Michelle Obama's Inferiority Complex
Dinesh D'Souza treads where most journalists dare not go by highlighting the dangers of affirmative action.
He provides a typical passage of Michelle Obama's college thesis:
"By actually working with the Black lower class or within their communities as a result of their ideologies, a separationist may better understand the desparation of their situation and feel more hopeless about a resolution as opposed to an integrationist who is ignorant to their plight."
Picking out the mangled grammar and the misspellings is the most interesting part of this snoozefest piece of writing.
Michelle Obama continues, "Every step of the way, there has been people telling me what I couldn't do."
Good gravy! Maybe them peoples is right!

I heard Michelle Obama say "we went law school and Barack and me.." BARACK AND ME? There's some grammar, huh?
Hey, cube..I posted on the article below and it isn't there; I hope I didn't say something offensive or TOO stupid (if it was that stupid, thanks for deleting it!)..was it a blogosphere problem!?
Do we care about grammar and well spokenness in a president and his wife? HECK YES! Good post.
Hey, don't you dare pick on Michelle. Obama said you're not allowed, and besides, she's probably just speaking ebonics or something.
Don't be a bigot, Cube.
;)
Z: I guess they don't teach proper English in schools anymore. Very sad state of affairs.
I'm sorry your comment was gobbled up by the blogosphere. It surely wasn't me. I live for comments ;-)
brooke: lol! I forgot MO was off limits! I shouldn't pay no nevermind to the man behind the curtain.
There I was, going along, reading the new entries on my blogroll, and BAM! my speel-check and grammmmer roller got punched right dad-blum square in the mouf.
Musta bin a overlaod from some Michelle-speak.
Now I gotta get it feexed before peeple knows i cant type or speel worth a hoot.
Years ago while in college, I had a classmate who repeatedly plagiarized her creative writing essays. The dramatic revelation came during one class session students were required to read their story aloud to the class. After this student read her story, another student said, “Wait a minute … I read that story in Readers’ Digest just last week!” Ordinarily, according to then current policy, the instructor would drop the student with an “F,” but that didn’t happen. Because she was black, the university waived their policy, this in spite of the fact that she had done the same thing in four other classes.
The underlying problem is much worse than simply an indictment against affirmative action. It speaks volumes about her academic skills, her work ethic, and of course as regards the substance of her work, the inability (or laziness) of analyzing the conclusions of others. Now, of course, Ms. Obama is a practicing attorney – and that alone speaks volumes about the legal profession. If she continues stumping for Mr. Obama, someone should axe her ‘bout dat.
How 'bout we jus' axe her?
And her husband, while we're at it...
One thing I hope she can't do is become First Lady.
I wish you and your family a wonderful holiday weekend.
Eat well and enjoy some fireworks.
God bless America!!!!!!!
Someone needs to teach her how to use a period for goodnessakes.
Wow...that's just plain awful.
"has beens" right, but "never was" is more to the point!
what a frikkin' mess this woman (or it could be ru paul...) is...
The thing about 'ebonics' is the fact that it was based on English spoken by illiterates...everything about it screams southern England, country poverty...I believe Dr. Sowell did a piece on the silliness of it all.
Good morning, G*Dbless and Maranatha!

CARY! That is SO mean.
And SO HILARIOUS! Great one!
nanc..RU PAUL! Exactly! Oh my GOSH!
Oh, it's so nice not to have to be PC!
lol! I love these comments. This is most certainly not a PC blog.
I'm not looking to help the Nobama side, but, honestly, I think they would benefit from buying copies of "The Elements of Grammar" by Margaret Shertzer and "The Elements of Style" by Strunk & White.
Just a thought, but not one I think Nobama's side will heed. I fear that they think grammatically correct English is a "typical white person" affectation.
