Chief Of Stuff
Obama's second head is his "bodyman", Reggie Love.
Meet Obama's bodyman: The White House 'Chief of Stuff' Who Caters To The President's Every Whim
Contrast the difference in tone discussing prior "bodymen" from this Ocober 29, 2004...
Candidates And Presidents All Rely On A Right-Hand Man
For example, the Obama article reads, "Reggie, who even the notably cool Mr Obama acknowledges is super-cool, has a suitably pithy phrase for his role. He is the White House Chief of Stuff."
It sure sounded like the pithy title came from the supercool Reggie himself, but the second article documents that John Kerry's "bodyman" was using the Chief of Stuff title on his business card years ago.
This is a small point, I admit, but one that is indicative of the gushing and fawning tone of reporting evident in the rest of Obama article.
It's enough to make a reader gag.

Isn't Reggie Love the name of the really obnoxious Eddie Murphy character from "The Nutty Professor"?
No, that's Buddy Love. But this is so close.
The guy can't help his name.
If this were the Clinton Administration, this would be so much easier. Mr. Love, the chief of booty acquisition.
dmarks,
LOL...
Hey, wasn't Reggie Love who introduced Obama to hip-hop?
At least he isn't working for Chenney... Can you imagine all the names he'd get?
dmarks: I see the humor, but Clinton's behavior had nothing to do with love ;-)
hector: More than the names Cheney has already been called?
I see they have pretty much wiped away any dignity that might have been left over from the Bush WH.
"I see they have pretty much wiped away any dignity that might have been left over from the Bush WH."
At least they did not have to replace the carpeting.
That was great. I love when someone finds these little things about the reporting of different people. It shows what's really in that reporter's mind. For him, certain people can do no wrong.
Shows loyalty to the guy for working so hard on election day patrolling that polling place in Philadelphia.
cube - Sunday's a day of rest.
So give it a rest!
Chuck: It sure didn't take long.
Dmarks: Heh heh.
Ratty: Thank you.
DaBlade: That video is no longer available. It goes against the new order of things.
Sue: My blog, my rules. I rest when I want to rest.
I see I'm going to have to carry a motion sickness bag with me at all times for the next four years.
cube - just trying to insert a bit of humor during this time of strife
Just returned from the supermarket where BO's face is on 90% of the covers with titles of stories to see who can gush the most.
Must avoid supermarkets.
Brooke: Me too.
Sue: :-) Goodness knows we can all use more humor.
Jan: There is no avoiding it. Have you been to a book store lately. It's even worse.
jan - I was at Krogers today and was amazed at the number of magazines with presidential covers
I'm not gushing and I'm not fawning, and I'm not alone.
Our new president's first actions and orders have been a terrible indication of what's to come.
