Congressional Cowardice

Ralph Peters doesn't pull any punches in his piece in the NY Post ... COWARDS GIVE UP ON GIS - & GIVE IN TO EVIL .

Here's a clip:

"The 'nonbinding resolution' telling the world that we intend to surrender to terrorism and abandon Iraq may be the most disgraceful congressional action since the Democratic Party united to defend slavery."

Disgraceful is one word for it.

Excellent reference.

It's turning our backs on our troops, that's what it is.

It's worse than disgraceful -- it's demoralizing to our ALL-VOLUNTEER Armed Forces.

Like a bunch of scaredy-cat, overprotective mommies, they want to pull our boys out of the sandbox before they've had a chance to beat up the bully.

Why don't the decision makers listen to the guys on the ground?

I don't know if you ever read any military blogs, cube, but I have a list of good ones over on my blog if anyone's interested. Blackfive.net is particularly recommended.

We're all on the same page on this issue. I'm tired of pussyfooting around it, but without a free & unbiased press, it will only continue.

raggedy: Glad you liked it :-)

phoenix: I can't even begin to imagine how this must make our troops feel. I hope they know it isn't all of us who would abandon them like this.

woman & rain: Thanks. It's frustrating to feel like there's nothing we can do to stop this insanity.

jenny: Time permitting, I pop in every know & then. I will definitely check out Blackfive.net. Thanks for the heads up.

Corruption, ineptitude, cowardice and sky-high taxation... It may be time for a new Revolution.
