Monkey Temple

One for the multicultural files:

Monkey deity : An Indian Hindu devotee leaves a new temple dedicated to a likeness of Lord Hanuman, the monkey god of Hindu mythology in New Delhi.

At first glance I thought it was Madonna's new tour look.

I thought it had something to do with that MIchael Jackson thing at first! LOL!

Monkey god? I refuse to believe in a god that flings his own poo.

rain: Yes, Madonna's makeovers can be a good source of humor :-)

dear friends, Monkey divinity Hanuman is being worshipped by Hindus for so many centuries now. It is not a new thing. There are so many temples with this deity. Hanuman or Bajrang Bali was a close aide to Lord Sree Ram in his quest for his Devi Seetha. If you want to know more about Hanuman read any English version of Ramayana, the great Hindu Purana. Namaste.

:O

That's not what I meant! I just thought the freaked-out scary look reminded me of Jacko.
